There are two railway lines available in Nagoya in addition to the JR Line. The Meitetsu Line covers Aichi and Gifu, while the Kintetsu Line is linked to Mie and the Kansai area. The JR Tokaido Line connects to the Nagoya subway system at Nagoya Station and Kanayama Station.

The JR Chuo Line connects to the Nagoya subway system at Nagoya Station, Kanayama Station, Tsurumai Station, Chikusa Station and Ozone Station. The Meitetsu Line connects to the Nagoya subway system at Nagoya Station, Kanayama Station, Sakae Station and Ozone Station.

The Tsurumai subway line is connected to the Meitetsu Line at Akaike Station and Kamiotai Station, providing easy access to the Inuyama and Toyota areas. The Kintetsu Line that is linked to Mie, Nara and Osaka, is connected to the Nagoya subway system at Hatta Station and Nagoya Station.
