Day 1: Nagoya - Takayama
Assemble at Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel at 11:20 and board a limited express for Takayama.
Visit Takayama Yatai Kaikan Hall where colorfully decorated traditional festival floats are displayed, the Kusakabe Folkcraft Museum which was formerly the residence of powerful merchants under government patronage, and Kami Sannomachi Street where traditional Japanese wooden houses are preserved.
Day 2: Takayama - Shirakawago - Kanazawa
Visit the famous morning market of Takayama., then take a scenic drive by Lake Miboro and along Shogawa River to Shirakawago, which is a designated World Heritage site. Take a look at its unique structures called gassho-zukuri, or joined-hands farmhouses. Visit Gokayama, another World Heritage village, where you can experience making traditional Japanese paper. Arrive at Kanazawa between 17:30 and 18:30.
Day 3: Kanazawa - Nagoya
In the morning, visit Kenrokuen Garden, one of Japan's three most beautiful gardens, the Kutaniyaki pottery kiln, the Higashi-chaya Street and former guest house Shima.
In the afternoon, board a limited express to Nagoya.
Arrive in Nagoya between 17:00 and 18:00.
